ABOUT THE DESIGN
When we moved to Florida after finishing nursing school, our friend-group knew we were ready for a new adventure. Our goal was to find a place to live that would bring balance and peace to the often hectic career path we had chosen in health care. The sunshine state certainly has provided the calming rhythms of the ocean to reset the soul after a week of patient care.

Many of you have enjoyed the artistic talents of our team member, Lynn. She has found the therapeutic escape from the chaos of daily life in mandala art.

In the ancient Sanskrit language of Hinduism and Buddhism, mandala means “circle.” Traditionally, a mandala is a geometric design or pattern that represents the cosmos or deities in various heavenly worlds. “It’s all about finding peace in the symmetry of the design and of the universe,” says artist Saudamini Madra.

When we think of peace, we not only enjoy the sun and the waves outside, but it’s a peaceful living space that resets us at the end of a hectic day. We all agree that curling up on the couch with a favorite pillow, blanket and mug of something warm, creates a safe and peaceful start, or end, to a successful, sometimes challenging, day. Add a furry friend to this space and the world becomes a better place.
